The firm covers all locations in Pakistan and has completed projects in the USA, Canada and the UK. OMD is a multidisciplinary practice and is one of the leading firms in the field of architecture and related design disciplines. Ar. Amina Qayyum Mirza is the principal architect, urban planner, researcher and a sustainable design leader. An award-winning professional, her projects have received local and international recognition, including UIA and Dedalo Minosse honors, reflecting excellence in design, innovation, and social impact. She has across-the-board knowledge in design, development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of projects in a wide range of fields, including architecture, interior, landscape, urban design, planning and research. She has led projects of diverse programs and building typology, including large scale green infrastructure residential development, commercial, industrial, hospitality, retail, urban renewal, and restoration. She has managed complete project life cycles, worked closely with corporate clients, government bodies, multidisciplinary teams, and stakeholders, ensured compliance with regulations, budgets, and timelines. She is skilled in developing sustainable contextually relevant effective solutions, applying global best practices, and integrating lessons learned to ensure project success. She holds a Master of Architecture (Post-Professional Degree) from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Architecture with Distinction from the National College of Arts in Lahore, Pakistan.

Ar. Ali Zafar Qazi is a distinguished architect with over 30 years of professional experience and the Co-Founder of OMD, Lahore. His portfolio encompasses a wide range of residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional projects, demonstrating extensive expertise in architectural design, project execution, and construction management.
A former President of the Institute of Architects Pakistan (2016–2018), he has worked in collaboration with leading international firms on several major developments. His professional approach is rooted in sustainable design, heritage conservation, and integrated project delivery, blending international best practices with a deep understanding of local context and culture.
He is also the recipient of prestigious professional recognitions, including the RIBA President’s Medal, acknowledging his significant contribution to the field of architecture.
